Centre unhappy with worsening security scenario in J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 13: The Union Government is not happy with the deteriorating law and order situation in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir where Babus are just busy enjoying luxuries and protocols. Within minutes after the dreaded terror attack at highly fortified Pantha Chowk in which two cops including one ASI were martyred, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought details of this terror attack. According to official Twitter handle of PMO, “PM @narendramodi has sought details on the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. He has also expressed condolences to the families of those security personnel who have been martyred in the attack”. Highly placed sources said that Union Government has taken very serious note of the deteriorating security scenario in Kashmir Valley where terrorists attacking after repeated intervals making a mockery of the security arrangements. Sources said that instead of taking effective steps to control terrorism in J&K, the incumbent administration is busy presenting a fake picture before the Union Government by gagging the voice of those who are highlighting the real picture. A group of Babus, who are trying to hoodwink the Union Government through false propaganda, is not ready to accept the reality. Terrorists are frequently targeting cops but those at the helm of the affairs are busy in cheap publicity by spending huge money from the government’s exchequer. As reported earlier by this despite tall claims of the J&K Government, terrorists fired upon a police party at Gulshan Chowk area of Bandipora on Friday evening. In this terror incident, two police personnel namely Selection Grade Constable Mohammad Sultan and constable Fayaz Ahmad got injured and attained martyrdom. Friday's evening attack at Bandipora was the first terror attack on cops after a brief lull of one month. The last terror attack on cops was on November 7, when a policeman was shot dead by terrorists near his residence at Batamaloo, Srinagar. Constable Tausif Ahmad, 29, was killed after the terrorists shot him from a point-blank range outside his residence at SD Colony around 8 pm on November 7, according to the police. |
