| Prof Rani Mughal honored with Bio-Diversity Conservation Award | | |

POONCH, Dec 13: In a proud moment for Poonch, Prof. Rani Mughal has been honored with the Bio-Diversity Conservation Award 2021, by International Foundation for Environment and Ecology, Kolkata. Prof. Rani is the only person from Pir Panjal Region to have been given this award.
She is widely acknowledged as a bio-diversity warrior in the region. Being the illustrious daughter of the great environmentalist and the erstwhile DFO of Poonch Mohammad Bashir Mughal she has been remarkably proactive in the field of biodiversity of this region and has demonstrated the same love and passion for the environment as her father.
Presently she is collaborating with the Krishna Ghati Brigade of the Indian Army who has nominated her as an advisor for their mega plantation drive of planting 1 lakh trees.
