FFMA pays tributes to December 13 martyrs of Parliament attack | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 13: Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) J&K today paid tributes to the martyrs of Parliament House attack 2001. In a programme organised at Dogra Shaurya Stamb Ambphalla, two minutes silence was also observed in the memory of martyrs. On December 13, 2001 many people including security forces personnel laid down their lives while fighting with Pakistani trained terrorists. The members of FFMA lit the candles in remembrance of martyrs amidst singing of national anthem. Rajesh Gupta, President of J&K VHP who was the chief guest, said that sacrifices of the soldiers will always be remembered as they fought for the nation and safety of the public. Gupta lauded the role of army and other armed forces engaging in protecting the borders. |
