Jammu, Dec 13: Team Mask Force Chairman Vijay Sharma on Monday alleged that Beti Barao,Beti Bachao(BBBP) Scheme is another rhetoric of the government.
In a statement Sharma said, “Nearly 79% funds of Beti Bachao are spent on media advocacy.
A new trend of bureaucratic system of governments is that almost all schemes are highlighted in media.
Since BBBP is one of the most important schemes of the government to improve child sex ratio in backward regions and ensure education of the girl children the parliamentary committee under the chairmanship of BJP MP Heena Vijaykumar Gavit in its report had advised the government to reconsider spending on advertisements.” |
