DC orders human resource audit in Reasi district

REASI, Dec 13: District Administration Reasi today took several decisions here at the second District Officers Meeting (DOM) chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Charandeep Singh.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Rani Salathia; ADC Abdul Satar; CPO Kanchan; PO ICDS, ACD Dr Anirudh Rai; GM DIC and other district officers.
After threadbare discussion on different points raised by district officers in the meeting, a string of decisions were taken by the Deputy Commissioner after considering valuable suggestions of the departments.
The meeting decided to ensure regular files work within the offices, human resource audit, constitution of internal officers and officials’ committees for performing different duties including improvement in functioning of departments, promotion of work culture, cleanliness in and outside all offices etc.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Officers to immediately constitute internal committees wherever required for conduct of Human Resource Audit in their respective departments.
It was also directed that the reports of internal committees shall be placed before the District level Committee for further action in the recommended cases.
While reviewing implementation of decisions of first DOM meeting, the Deputy Commissioner assessed responses of all district officers and asked them to maintain a diary for recording action taken report and reactive measures by them in resolving the issues and submit valid reports in case of non-resolution
The Deputy Commissioner also stressed on district officers to practically implement the Good Governance initiatives on the ground while redressing grievances of local people.
He said the public should not suffer on account of their basic issues in offices and whosoever comes in offices should not return home hopeless and dejected, the DC added.
He asked all the officers to improve the working in their offices and subordinate offices by employing innovative techniques and apt measures so that visitors feel very comfortable while raising issues before them. He also instructed officers for making people aware about JKBEAMS empowerment and Apki Zameen and Apki Nigrani initiatives of Govt.
Meanwhile, the DC also instructed all officers to identify beneficiaries for e-shram and health card schemes and mobilize them for registration by the VLEs. Instructions were also passed for mobilizing PRI members in this assignment for cent percent registration of targeted beneficiaries. DC stressed on RDD and other concerned departments to execute all tendered works and complete the same as early as possible.
Further, Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to strengthen powerful initiative of ‘Block Divas’ of UT of Jammu and Kashmir and ensure their participation in all such block divas organized in entire district on the fixed days at different blocks.
