Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 13: The BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accomplished so much which no other government has accomplished as far as rejuvenating the culture and traditions of the country are concerned.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta in statement issued here on Monday. He said that that the inauguration of rejuvenated and transformed Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham shows the commitment of Modi government in restoring the pristine glory of the rich cultural heritage of the country. He said that unlike the successive governments, the Modi dispensation has taken exemplary steps in satiating the aspirations of the people as far as spiritual desires of the population of the country are concerned. He said that PM Modi has ensured that Kashi moves towards all round and future oriented development through many public oriented projects. “With the aim of restoring the cultural and spiritual glory of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham complex has been built under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, he said adding that the PM’s new initiatives will ensure that the pilgrims would be able to easily worship Baba Vishwanath as well as have the Darshans of Maa Ganga from Baba’s Dham as it used to be in ancient times.
He said that the unprecedented and historic work of rejuvenation of Baba VIshwanath Dham has become possible only because of the exemplary leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, blessings of revered saints and cooperation of the prominent people of Kashi.
Kavinder said BJP Govt at the Centre and J&K Govt under the stewardship of LG Manoj Sinha committed to also promote the religious pilgrimage sites of Jammu and Kashmir. He however demanded that the government should create a dedicated corridor of all ancient holy places of Jammu region with an aim to boost the religious pilgrimage as it will also boost the economy of the Union Territory.
He said that if the government will focus on this initiative the tourism and economy will get the much desired push taking the UT to the next level of progress.
