| File fresh compliance report or appear in person: HC to Executive Engineer R&B Jammu | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 13: In a contempt petition filed by the petitioner for not implementing the writ court order by the Contemnors dated 18-12-2015 having titled Kartar Singh Vs State of J&K and ors.High court of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh today passed an order whereby the Contemnors Commissioner Secretary P. W. D (R&B) ,Chief Engineer P. W. D ( R&B) and Executive Engineer P. W. D (R&B) have been directed to filed fresh compliance report failing which the Executive Engineer P. W. D ( R& B) shall remain appear in person on next date of hearing 17th February 2022. The counsel for the petitioner Mohammad Irfan drew the attention of the court towards the previous court order dated 11-11-2021 whereby the court granted the time to Contemnors counsel to filed fresh compliance report. Justice Sindhu Sharma asked a Contemnors counsel that no compliance report yet why, then the Counsel replied that demarcation has been done in respect of this stretch of the land taken by the P. W. D (R&B) department ,but the department concerned did not communicated us regarding the demarcation. The court directed the Contemnors counsel to file the compliance report failing which the Executive Engineer P. W. D. ( R&B) shall remain appear in person on next date of hearing 17th February 2022.
