Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 20: SCERT J&K, Jammu Division started five days workshop on module development for ECCE based on Vidya Pravesh today. The workshop has been organized under the National Mission by Ministry of Education, GOI, NIPUN BHARAT (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) to ensure that every child in the country necessarily attains foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) by the end of Grade 3, by 2026-27. The workshop is being organized by Population Education, Girl Education, ECCE and Education for All & Art Education and Vocational Education Wings of SCERT J&K, Jammu Division in collaboration with JKASW (Jammu Kashmir Association of Social Workers) & Technical Partner Eduweave Foundation, supported by UNICEF. The workshop was inaugurated by Surinder Kumar, Joint Director SCERT-JK Jammu Division. Deepak Sharma, senior academic officer, SCERT J&K Jammu explained that NCERT has developed guidelines for three-month play based school preparation module for Grade-I children called 'VIDYA PRAVESH' which is one of the significant components of NIPUN Bharat mission to achieve Foundational Literacy and Numeracy.
