Calling Army to handle power crisis admin’s failure: HCBA | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 20: J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu under the leadership of its President M K Bhardwaj held a protest Dharna while demanding providing essential services in Jammu like transmission of electricity supply, water supply and health facilities. The protesters demanded shifting of all judicial work (like CAT, registration work, DRT and tribunal) within court premises. The protesters demanded establishment of consumer forums in the court premises adding that establishment of consumer commission and human rights commission should also be done. Bhardwaj, while addressing the Bar members, urged upon the government to resolve all the above mentioned demands/issues of the legal fraternity and demands of general public, so as to give relief to the legal fraternity as well as civil society immediately. Bhardwaj said that calling Army for providing essential services in Jammu is the utter failure of the administration. He said that the UT administration should immediately provide the essential services, so that the people of Jammu may not suffer more due to their failure. |
