JKPYC extends full support to PDD employees' indefinite strike | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 20: J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) extended full support to the ongoing strike of power employees. This was announced by the JKPYC President, Udhay during his visit to the Dharna site at Bhagwati Nagar along with his team of party activists and workers. In his address on the occasion, Udhay Bhanu Chib flayed the Govt for not showing serious concern towards the demands of these power employees as a result of which the common man is suffering due to blackout. It is due to callous approach of BJP Government that over 20,000 power sector employees were forced to boycott work Udhay asserted. He said that Government should desist from confronting its own employees and should seriously consider the legitimate concerns of PDD employees on strike. Claiming that this is yet another example of the worst failure of Bharatiya Janata Party rule he asked the Govt to accept all the demands of these suffering employees without any further delay to end the current chaotic situation so that the common man feels some respite in the ongoing harsh winter. Meanwhile the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress Kathua unit workers and activists also staged a strong protest against the Govt and in support of the power department employees. Ricky Dalotra Vice President JKPYC, Avijoot Sing Gen Secretary JKPYC, Latish Sharma Secretary JKPYC, Ranjoot Singh chairman Sports JKPYC and Happy Randhawa DYC President Jammu Urban were also present. |
