| UT admin has failed to handle power crisis in Jammu & Kashmir: Neeraj Dewan | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 20: Neeraj Dewan General Secretary PTU JKNPP today said that administration has totally failed to handle the situation due to power crisis in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that the government was supposed to talk with employees of JKPDCL well in time before the situation get worse, but the government didn't pay heed to the sensitivity of the situation and as a result of which the common man is suffering a lot.
Addressing a press conference Dewan said that children are not able to attend their online classes, the traders bear loss due to power shutdown people are struggling to file their ITR and GSTR's as they are not able to do so well in time because of power crisis. He said people are supposed pay huge amount of power bills in absence of electricity. He said that why the common man should suffer without any fault.
"By handing over the Grid to army the government can't escape its liabilities towards people. After all it's a democratic government and all the employees of the state are public servant. They have to take care of the people and ensure that they must not suffer because of their confliction, said Dewan. |
