JAMMU, Dec 20: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Jindrah in collaboration with J&K bank, Jindrah branch, held Awareness-cum-Financial Literacy programme in the college premises. The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Rajshree Dhar, Principal, GDC, Jindrah. She congratulated the NSS Team and J&K bank for the initiative undertaken for the welfare of the students and locals. Dr. Sunil Sharma, Program officer, NSS Unit of GDC Jindrah organised the whole event and Dr. Seema, Librarian and member of NSS team compiled and reported the same. Sunil Gandotra, Bank Manger of the J&K bank, Jindrah branch was the speaker on the ocassion. He delivered lecture on the pension schemes, insurance schemes and various other facilities that are available in the bank. Rajeshwar Singh, another employee of the bank was also presented on the occasion. The NSS volunteers and students were enlightened to know the relevance of banks and various schemes associated with it. They also raised queries to clear their doubts which were very well responded by the speaker. |
