| GDC Dudu Basantgarh organizes cleanliness campaign | | | 
EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Dec 20: GDC Dudu Basantgarh organized a cleanliness campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” today.
The students of the college actively participated under the supervision and guidance of the faulty members. The students cleaned three water bodies of the village Shivgali. There is a lack of tap water in the area. Local people are totally depends on spring water. So it is the necessity to keep water bodies clean in this area. Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal guided the students to clean surrounding area and the water bodies so that the local people can have access to pure and clean water in their day to day affairs.
Dr. B.C. Anthal, principal of the college addressed to the students about the value of the cleanliness and the significance of preserving water bodies.
He further guided the students to motivate their family members and the neighbors about the importance of cleanliness to prevent various hazardous diseases.
Faculty members who led the campaign, along with students, were Prof. Rahul Sharma, Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal, Prof. Vijay Kumar, Dr. PP Singh, Dr. Ravi Kumar and Aastha Gupta. |
