JAMMU, Dec 24: 2 J&K Girls Bn. NCC in collaboration with Eco Club of Government Degree College, RS Pura organized a plantation drive on the second day of cleanliness camp in adopted village, Bagga Marh under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The activity was organized as part of ongoing activities in ‘Clean India Programme’, under the patronage of Prof. Sunil Uppal, Principal of the college and supervision of Lt. Shaveta Chowdhary, (NCC ANO) and Prof. Shifali Abrol, Convener, Eco Club. 37 cadets participated in the drive where they planted different types of trees like Ashoka, Peepal and some fruit trees like Guava, Mango and Jamun. |
