| JKAP 6th Bn organizes plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, Dec 24: JKAP 6th Bn organized tree plantation drive in collaboration with Social Forestry Department at Bn. Hqrs. Behra.
The drive was conducted with an aim to beautify the area and to contribute for the green drive of our country. The aim was also to fight against global warming and to reduce its impact on climate change and ultimately for the better environment for the next generation. A number of saplings of locally available flora which include Deodar, Biyar and Saroo were planted. The police personnel of JKAP 6th Bn are also encouraging the locals to do the same, so that a large number of saplings can be locally prepared and planted for increasing the green cover of the area. In addition to this all the JKAP Police personnel pledged to carry forward the initiative and to contribute actively to increase the green cover at various locations throughout district Poonch |
