JMC Councillor Anu Bali kick starts drain works | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 24: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Councillor Anu Bali along with her husband Naveen Bali inaugurated drain works at Kidzee School Rehari Colony in Ward-24 at the cost of Rs 3 lakhs. Speaking on the occasion, Councillor Anu Bali appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with Jammu Municipal Corporation in various development works undertaken by the it within Jammu city. Bali said that since many more drains needs to be covered across Ward No 24 a continuous follow up and strenuous efforts are being made for construction of drains across ward, which will be covered in further allotment of funds. She urged upon the residents to avoid using single use plastics and polythene in their routine work, while also asked them not to throw debris, garbage or filth in the public drains, lanes and nallahs. Anu Bali also appealed the public to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean, green and beautiful city.
