Modi govt schemes meant for women empowerment: Vinay

JAMMU, Dec 24: President BJP District Jammu, Vinay Gupta chaired a meeting of the party's Mahila Morcha Mandal Jammu East. It was organized by Neeru Anand, President BJP Mahila Morcha Mandal Jammu East and held at BJP party office Kachi Chawni Jammu.
While addressing the meeting Vinay Gupta, said that to improve the condition of women and empower them socially and economically, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced various welfare schemes for them and PM introduced "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojna" to generate awareness about the welfare of girl child and women. Vinay highlighted Modi Sarkaar has started Permanent Commission for women in Army, Navy and Air force, besides provision of NDA entry for women, which was earlier for males only. Moreover recently Modi cabinet has proposed 21 years as marriage for girls that are equal to boys.
Vinay asserted that there are so many other schemes for the empowerment of women of the country which need to be shared with them. He further said that draft of the delimitation commission report has been declared and after its final report, Election Commission will decide dates for Assembly polls.
Gupta stated we all should be prepared for elections", he said and added that Mahila Morcha has an important role given the future elections. This time our party has set a target- 50 ke paar and to achieve it, every activist has to contribute.
During the meeting Parveen Kerni President BJP Mandal Jammu East, Narinder Koki, Secretary BJP District Jammu, Divya Jain and Anuradha Sharma, both General Secretaries, Mahila Morcha District Jammu were also present.
