JSS Jammu celebrates Christmas with students, parents

JAMMU, Dec 24: Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ on Dec 25th every year. This festival brings the most joyous times of the year. People celebrate the festival spirit by attending get-togethers, visiting friends and family. Jammu Sanskriti School (JSS) Jammu celebrated spirited festival with the students and parents to make it a memorable one with all things heartwarming blessed and Jolly.
Special assembly on the occasion showcased melodious colors. School also encouraged students, teachers, parents and community to be the “Senta in someone’s life” by donating blankets and warm clothes to the needy.
During this drive school has collected ample number of items to be donated to the needy.
Keeping in view this thought, all the parents of the new students were called in the school and different activities were organized by different wings consecutively for 3 days starting from December 22 to 24.
The event started with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by different fun filled activities for the students and parents.
PowerPoint presentations were also presented by different wings to enlighten the parents about the school achievements & different activities performed by the students. Parents were also thrilled by the song presentation by the school faculty. Different sports events were also organized both for parents and students. Counselling session by the school counselor was like cheery on the cake.
Positive feedbacks were also given by the parents regarding online classes and the efforts which have been done by the school management.
The Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson, Rohini Aima addressed the gathering. Aima apprised the parents with learning procedures and school philosophy. They appreciated and enjoyed this fun filled bonanza for three consecutive days.
