| GDC Banihal organizes Clean India Programme | | | 
EARLY TIMES REPORT
BANIHAL, Dec 24: NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Banihal organized Clean India Programme as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” under the overall guidance of Principal Dr. Manohar Lal and mentorship of NSS Programme Officer of the college Prof. Ajay Kumar and Prof. Ram Parkash (HoD Mathematics). Prof Sajad Ahmad Sultan (HOD Urdu) and Deepak Kumar (PTI) along with seventy NSS Volunteers of the college visited the main rivulet flowing through the Ashar Lambar village of Banihal. There the volunteers collected the waste material, rubbish, litter and trash, which was found along the rivulet, in dustbins. They interacted with local community regarding the importance of keeping the water bodies neat and clean. |
