Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I attends awareness camps in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 24: Rizwan-ud-din, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, Regional Office J&K and Ladakh attended an awareness camp at M/s. Chenab Textile Mill and M/s. Amrit ETT College Hatli Morh here regarding implementation of EPF and MP Act, 1952 and e- nomination. Sood and Parveen Tyagi from Chenab Textile Mill participated in the programme. The employers and employees were participated in the camp actively and redressed their greivances be faced by them. Assistant Labour Commissioner Kathua Brijnesh Kumari appealed the workers to come forward and enroll themselves with the schemes such as EPF, e-nomination for organized workers, e-SHRAM for unorganized workers and PM-SYM for unorganized workers and avail the benefits. Ashfaq Mohammad, representative and President of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sang Union Kathua also present on the occasion. Rizwan focused on pension scheme, EPS-95 and Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance, EDLI and also answered the questions asked by the employees on EPS and EDLI scheme. An employee asked the question that if an employee has an accident and becomes disabled or dies, what will happen. The RPFC-I explained to the member for in case of disablement the member got disablement pension and in case of death while in service family/nominee get widow pension lifelong and two children pension till the age of 25 years. |
