Teachers of all 11 zones of District Udhampur participated in the meeting. Bhupinder appealed the Lieutenant Governor to consider the genuine demands of teachers and other employees of J&K working under NPS and restore the old pension scheme. He appealed the administrative secretary School Education to frame comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme as these teachers have been working in the same schools for last more than 20 years. "The High Court have given a judgment that teachers appointed under ReT scheme be transferred within the district like other general line teachers, DPC of teachers to masters as same hasn't been done since 2014, conversion of head teachers posts (SSA) into non-plan posts of masters in upgraded middle schools so that salary issue of head teachers be resolved, regularize the services of surplus EVs and online transparent transfer policy of teaching staff which has been initiated by education department must be made more transparent without manipulating the data and minimum stay should be two years in hard zone and three years in cities, road side schools," said Bhupinder. |
