Early Times Report VIJAYPUR, Jan 9: President Muskaan Foundation, Vijaypur and Member of "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013" for District Samba Parveen Sangral, said that the foundation has always been dedicated to the differently abled, women's rights, giving higher education to girl child, needy besides BPL and makes every effort for their help. On this New Year, an awareness campaign is being run by the Foundation towards the rights of women living in border villages. "We all know that in our society, the women of our villages are not aware about their rights. They are being made aware of to raise their voice against any exploitation," said Sangral. Parveen Sangral, said that in the Indian Constitution, women have the right to privacy, the right to free legal aid, the right to a safer workplace, right to protection, right to equal pay, right against female foeticide, adding that if women become aware of their rights, then this will reduce the cases of harassment of women. She further said that in the present times, our girls should be especially aware of their rights so that the cases of exploitation and crime against them can be curbed. |
