Social Worker Ganesh receives Pride of Young Hindustan Award | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 9: Social Worker and National Awardee, Ganesh Singh from Doda District received Pride of Young Hindustan Award 2022. Ganesh Singh is an active social worker and also actively associated with various Social organizations like Indian Red Cross Society, Ramakrishna Mission, LFO Foundation etc. He is working for the welfare of society on various issues like Blood donations, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, plantation drives, creating awareness for improvement of the status of women, free coaching classes to poor students and environmental awareness programmes etc. He is an ex-NSS Volunteer and has represented J&K at different national level camps as well as at state level camps. In the pandemic time of COVID-19, he did an excellent humanitarian service for the welfare of society by his volunteer work. Till now he has donated 5 times blood and planted more than 2000 saplings. Ganesh Singh says that he will continue his work for the welfare of the society till his last breath and try to work in all those sectors where the society need us. For his volunteer service towards the society, he has been already received 2 National Awards i.e Best Volunteer Award-2017 by MHRD, Govt of India and Rashtriya Prerna Doot Award-2018. He has also got many certificates of appreciation from different dignitaries of the UT. His great contribution in the field social work, the Youngistan Foundation has also honoured him with the Pride of Young Hindustan Award 2021- 2022 at Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. |
