| Verma demands restoration of statehood to J&K | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 9: A public meeting was organized by Ch Mohd Ghani, District President National Conference (NC) ST Cell at Block Narsoo Distt Udhampur in which Sunil Verma, District President was invited as chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Verma demanded restoration of statehood and immediate conduct of assembly elections so that popular govt can be made and sufferings of common masses can be mitigated. Verma also emphasized on the representation given to ST community during the tenures of NC govt and asked the community to vote in favour of NC in the upcoming assembly polls so that a govt with full majority can be made. Those who were present in the meeting were Distt. Vice President Anayatullah, Jib Thathi Block President Pavitar Singh, Block Secretary Udhampur Mashuma Begum and others. |
