Annual festival of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan conclude

JAMMU, Jan 9: The foundation day and annual festival of Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan is being celebrated under the joint aegis of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology Jammu, Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranvir Campus Jammu and Shri Kailak Jyotish and Vedic Trust.
Various topics were discussed with Sanskrit scholars and officials in Jammu to consider the ceremony in a grand format with a fixed number. Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan which is in Vishwasthali Nagar of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Well-known scholar of Sanskrit, Dr. Pandit Uttam Chand Shastri Pathak lit a light for Sanskrit culture. From the time of his teaching, he used to teach weekly Gita, Vishnu Sahasranama and simple Sanskrit, which awakened the love of Sanskrit in the public mind.
Shastri, who led a devoted life to Sanskrit, made an effort like Bhagirath for the promotion and expansion of Sanskrit by establishing the Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan Trust in 2003. Presently, Chudamani Sanskrit Sansthan has got affiliation with the oldest university, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi as the main center of teaching Sanskrit studies across the world.
The meeting was mainly attended by the Vice Chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu, Prof. J. P. Sharma who said that today there is a need to do organic farming according to the season, climate, nature and constellation by connecting agriculture with Vedic Vangmay.
Director of Central Sanskrit University Shri Ranvir Campus Kot Bhalwal Prof. Madan Mohan Jha said that today again some scholars have been invited from Kashi and Jammu to bring alive the debate tradition of Kashi and Kashmir. Mahant Rohit Shastri, the chief trustee of Shri Kailak Jyotish and Vedic Institute, introduced the scholars and gave oral respect.
