| TMF appeals LG to introduce new disinfectant technology | | |

JAMMU, Jan 18: Team Mask Force (TMF) chairman, Vijay Sharma appealed LG Manoj Sinha to introduce new disinfectant technology to mitigate the sufferings of JKites. New Disinfection technology was recently highlighted by Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh. According to Minister, CSIR's newly developed disinfection technology is very effective to combat pandemic in public places including Railway Stations, AC buses and enclosed spaces, he added. Sharma in his appeal requested that the new technology as envisaged by Minister is so effectively been used elsewhere in the country be also brought in JKUT and make use of the same to combat with SARS-COV-2 Virus to deactivate the same and thereby helps in saving human lives. However, Sharma feels that till the country is not out of this pandemic crisis the use of masks and other SOPs be carried on and shouldn't be done away with by the masses as stressed by the Minister as well. |
