J&K: Teen traced in 4 hrs after missing report | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Jan 18: Police in Kashmir claimed to have traced a teenager within four hours after he was reported missing by his parents in Srinagar it was reported on Tuesday. Police said, on January 16, one Mohammad Altaf Dar a resident of Babapora Zoonimar in a complaint at Police Station Zadibal said that his 9-year-old son Mohammad Ruban had gone missing since the morning. The parents and relatives had searched for the child everywhere but without any success. A case was registered under the relevant sections of law at Police Station Zadibal and investigation was initiated. “During the course of investigation, all the police stations and police posts across Kashmir Zone were asked to keep a sharp lookout and share the leads about the missing child”, police said. The traces and leads were further developed and after strenuous efforts, the investigating team were able to trace the missing child in Khimber area of Hazratbal within 4 hours after the missing report was ledged and handed him over to his parents. |
