JAMMU, Jan 23: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit paid heartfelt tributes to the party's founder and ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat’ Bala Saheb Thackeray on his 96th birth anniversary by serving ‘Gau Mata’ and the poor. A team of Shiv Sainiks led by party's state president, Manish Sahni visited Gaushala in Jammu, where they provided 96 kg green fodder to the Gaumata besides covering them with 96 blankets in freezing cold. Sahni said that ‘Gau Seva’ has been greatest service and the workshop of all 33 categories of deities. While paying a heartfelt tribute to this great leader, Manish Sahni said that Bala Saheb always considered helping the needy and patriotism as the supreme religion. He was a true Sanatani and always stood firm against injustice. Sahni said that his thoughts inspire all of us even today and forever. He was the only leader of the century to be honored with the title of 'Hindu Hriday Samrat'. Shiv Sena leaders also distributed food and blankets to the poor and needy after the ‘Gau Mata Seva’. On this occasion, President Women's Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Chairman Rakesh Gupta, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh, Sandeep Bhagat, President Kamgaar Wing Raj Singh, Secretary Women Wing Geeta Lakhotra, Surendra Kumar, Youth Secretary Rajesh Handa, Raj Kumari, Sumit Abrol, Praveen Gupta, Mangu Ram and Dimple were present. |
