| GCOE Jammu organizes webinar on 'Cyber Jagrookta' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 2: The Government College of Education (GCOE), Canal Road, Jammu organized an online lecture to create 'Cyber Jagrookta' among the faculty and students of the college. The program initiated with the welcome speech by the Nodal Officer- Cyber Jaagrookta Dr Deep Kumar Bangotra, Assistant Professor from GCOE Jammu. He introduced the speaker to the audience while welcoming the resource person and faculty members.
Dr Yashwant Singh, Associate Professor, and Head, Deptt. of CS&IT, Central University of Jammu was the resource person for the event. During his detailed presentation, he highlighted various aspects related to Digital Hygiene for staying Secure in Cyber Space. He spoke about 10 important measures for maintaining cyber hygiene like changing passwords on regular basis, a technique to create secure and robust passwords, introduction to society 5.0 along with other burning issues. The chief guest of the occasion Dr Kulvinder Kour, Principal GCOE Jammu shared her experience related to cyber challenges and stressed upon the need along with relevance of creating awareness among the masses. She also appreciated the efforts of the resource person Dr Yashwant Singh for his command over the matter. |
