| BYDC urges LG to sanction public holiday on Guru Gyagi Jayanti | | |  Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, Feb 5: The Batwal Youth Development Committee (BYDC) held a meeting chaired by its President Tilak Raj Bassa. The meeting urged the Lieutenant Governor to sanction public holiday on the birthday of Guru Gyagi in the Jammu district under the Negotiable Instruments Act as has been done in case of other saints and seers. The birthday of Guru Gyagi falls on Magh Purnima every year and it is on Wednesday, the February 16 this year.
