| Harni-BG road in dilapidated condition; social activist Wasid Khan seeks authority attention | | | NAZARAT AHMED

MENDHAR, Feb 5: Locals of Harni expressed strong resentment against the authorities
of Public Work Department (PWD) for their failure to undertake
the complete gravel filling works followed
by macadamisation works on Harni to Bhimber Gali (BG)
road.
While talking to correspondent social activist Wasid Khan said that Harni to BG roads connectimg four panchayat namely Galhuta, Central Galhuta, Kangra Galhuta, Kandi Galhta but is is very unfortunate that this important road is still sans complete macadamisation Leaving the villagers of their area's to suffer.
He said the condition of Harni to B.G road is so deplorable with countless potholes making the purpose of the road, a failure. The residents are facing a lot of inconvenience due to the bad condition of this road.
He appealed Deputy Commissioner Poonch and higher Public Work Department authorities to complete macadamisation/blacktopping works on full 14km Harni to BG road stretch in the larger interest locals of the area. |
