AJKYF strongly condemns withdrawal of advertised posts from JKPSC, JKSSB | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 5: All J&K Youth Federation Incharge Chenab Valley Imran Farhat today strongly condemned withdrawal of advertised posts from Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and Jammu Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB).In his press statement, Imran said that the Government playing with youth sentiments, killing the hope of and dreams of educated unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Anti-youth policies and illconcieved decision has pushed thousands of youth to a state of hopelessness and disappointment. He added, Jammu and Kashmir is the only Union territory where both employed and unemployed youth are in crisis. The Government is working directionless with no clarity about how to deal with the growing unemployment. At one hand, they advertise vacant posts for recruitment and then abruptly they withdraw them without taking into account the amount of mental stress and psychological state of the unemployed youth. He said that the Government has failed on all the fronts and there is poor management in handling the unemployment. The recruitment agencies should have been allowed to continue the recruitment process but it was not done. Instead of adopting a pro-youth policy, he said that the Jammu and Kashmir Government withdrew the posts through an order. The posts which were referred to the JKPSC/JKSSB prior to 31-10-2019, for which selections have not been finalized till date also the posts in which there are litigations and the cases are pending in the courts have also been withdrawn, he added expressing his concern while quoting the orders of the Government. He further appealed and requested to the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha kindly intervene in this matter. |
