| Bodies of 2 persons found in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 13: The bodies of two persons were recovered in Kashmir Valley one Sunday, official sources said. They said the body of a 48-year-old Nisar Ahmad Dar of Shamsipora Bijbehara was found lying at Verinag near Panzoo Bridge in South Kashmir’s Anantag district. According to the reports, Dar was missing and a missing complaint was filed with the police. The police has started the investigations. In the second incident, the body of an 18-year-old Bilal Ahmad Jagal was recovered from the water reservoir of a power canal in Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, officials said. They said Jagal had went missing on Saturday afternoon from his home. According to the locals, the youth had allegedly jumped into the water reservoir of power house Kangan located at Barnbagh. The police reached the spot and recovered the body from the reservoir, they said and added the body has been sent for post-mortem. Cases under relevant section of the law have been registered by the police, they added. |
