| Samba Police foil bovine smuggling bid, rescue 5 bovines | | | Early Times Report
Samba, 13: Continuing its drive against bovine smuggling and its propagators under the supervision of SSP Samba, Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, IPS, District Police Samba today once again successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle bovines by rescuing 05 bovines in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal. Tapyal, Ghagwal intercepted a Mahindra Vehicle with Reg. No. JKO8F /9894. During checking, 05 bovines were found laden inside the vehicle which were being transported illegally without any permission.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 24/2022 U/S 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act stands registered at PS Ghagwal and investigation started.
All the bovines were rescued and shifted to a safer place. The vehicle used for transporting the bovines was also seized on spot. |
