Today, the nation is observing third anniversary of the terror attack and remembering the supreme sacrifice of the 40 brave men of CRPF, who attained martyrdom in Pulwama. Among others, Brigadier Alok Dash, Commander Hyderbeg Sector Rashtriya Rifles, Mumtaz Peerzada, Assistant commissioner of Revenue, Touseef Raina, Amir Sheikh, Hamid Bhat and Kamran and his team of young stalwarts were present. The audience of over 150 youth including 21 NCC cadets also attended the event. The event started with lighting the lamp in remembrance of the martyrs, followed by two minutes of silence. Various volunteer youth performed and displayed their talent on stage, including a patriotic song by Iqbal Hussain Mir, depicting the valour of brave soldiers and an eye-opener speech by Ishfaq Hussain Mir.
