| Police arrests drug peddler, Charas recovered | | |  Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Feb 14: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society and taking stringent action against the drug peddlers, Kishtwar police has launched massive hunt against narcotic peddling in the District.
Police party of PS Chatroo and PP Mughalmaidan while on patrolling and routine checking near Pahalgam Sigdi area.During surprise checking police party noticing suspected movement of one pedestrian coming from Pahalgam towards Sigdi area to stop,who on seeing the police party tried to fled from the spot but police party swiftly and tactfully overpowered him. On questioning he disclosed his name Mohd Yousaf s/o Asadullah Chopan r/o Pahalgam Sigdi.During checking 40 grams of charas like substance recovered from his possession.
On this a case FIR no 16/2022 u/s 8/20 NDPS act got registered at ps Chatroo and investigation taken up. |
