| GDC Chenani organizes one day student awareness programme on voting | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 17: Government Degree College, Chenani organized a one day student awareness programme on the theme: My Vote is My Future -Power of one Vote. The event was organized to spread awareness among the young voters about the need to participate and promote the informed participation in the electoral process.
Students from different streams and disciplines from the college participated in the event and expressed their thoughts by poster making, slogans, video messages and essay writing in English, Hindi and Dogri. The students emphasized the dignity of vote and voter and fair, free and peaceful elections to uphold the democratic setup in the country.
Principal of the College, Dr. Pragya Khanna appreciated the efforts of the students and the organizers on the occasion. She opined that such events will be of great help to spread awareness among voters for promoting greater participation in the election process. |
