Punjab National Bank organises Financial Literacy Camp "Go Digital Go Secure" at Village Gagian R S Pura | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 17: This year's topic for Financial Literacy Week has been chosen by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as "Go Digital, Go Secure." This is one of the Strategic Plan for Financial Education 2020-20251s strategic goals. According to a press statement issued on Monday, the RBI will focus on raising awareness about the ease of online payments, their security, and client protection. The Financial Literacy Week will take place this year from February 14 to February 18. Reserve Bank of India has directed all banks to spread information and raise awareness about the event among their clients and the general public. Under the guidance of Yatender Kumar (DGM} Circle Head, Punjab National Bank Jammu Circle Rohit Raina, Chief Manager, IT team leader and Balvinder Kumar Branch Head RS Pura today conducted a financial literacy camp at Gagian today. Sarpanch Capt. Hans Raj along with the local villagers and students of Govt. Middle School participated in this awareness camp. PNB Officials deliberated on the various types of Digital Product being offered by the bank, its benefits and precautions to be taken while using this digital platform. It was emphasized that Digital transactions are fast replacing the physical cash transactions which is very easy to use and are available on 24*7 basis as per the convenience of accountholders. Capt. Hans Raj thanked PNB team for holding such financial literacy camp in their area for making awareness among public. Stationery items were also distributed among the student partici pants. Punjab National Bank is celebrating this financial literacy camp at all its branches spread in Jammu region during campaign period 14th Feb to 18 February 2022 |
