agencies MUMBAI, Feb 22: Pharma company V-Ensure has raised Rs 130 crore from various investors to expand its presence in global markets like North America and Europe and also launch new products. This round of funding of Rs 130 crore, was led by alternative investment firm Investcorp along with participation from Asia-based private investment firm, Tanas Capital. "This investment will fund V-Ensure's objective of pursuing growth opportunities across North America, Europe and other global markets for the development and launch of its products," a statement issued here said. According to Investcorp, this investment marks its third healthcare investment in India and its first in the pharmaceutical sector. "The investment also reinforces Investcorp's commitment to invest in market-leading business services, information technology and healthcare businesses in India and accelerate their expansion and competitive positioning globally," the investment firm said. |
