| Rupee recovers 36 paise against USD | | |  agencies
MUMBAI, Feb 25: The Rupee on Friday recovered by 36 paise to close positive at 75.29 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The domestic unit that had tumbled down by Rs 1.10 paise on Thursday, jumped 35 paise at 75.30 in early trade, and finished at 75.29, advancing 36 paise as compared to its previous close.
The local unit rallied due to a weak dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding equity market.
The Rupee unit registered the days high and low at 75.26 and 75.40 respectively against the US Dollar, dealers added. |
