By the time outsiders understand J&K their tenure ends, give chance to locals: Altaf Bukhari | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25: President of Apni Party Altaf Bukhari on Friday said that mis-governance in Jammu and Kashmir has become deep rooted. Talking to reporters Bukhari said, “Local bureaucrats are very much aware about the ground situation. The outsiders who come to J&K take time to understand the things by the time they get to know the things their tenure ends. It would have been better to give a chance to local bureaucrats. They understand the situation in a much better way.” He accused the present dispensation of breaking the back of Jammu people. Talking to reporters Bukhari said, “For the past three years they have been ruling Jammu and Kashmir. They need to tell people what they have done for them? We are seeing job aspirants of Border battalions, CISF, BSF and others staging protests on the streets. Is this the good governance they are talking about.” |
