| Residents of Damnote Panchayat, protest against PMGSY department | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 25: Residents of Damnote Panchayat in Udhampur district today protested against the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) department and alleged that the department has failed to maintain the roads in the Panchayat.
The locals while giving vent to their anger said that the officials of the department are not giving any heed to the genuine demands and said that they have been left at the mercy of the God. They said the engineers are absent even though the roads are in dilapidate condition and total mess.
The locals said that if the department does not have adequate funds then they should told them so that they could project the demand before the concerned authorities and that too in a forceful manner. They demand intervention at the highest level so that there is an end to the daily problems. |
