| Tawi Welfare Society organizes first eye cataract surgery camp in Jammu after outbreak of Covid-19 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 13: Tawi Welfare Society (TWS) became the first organization to organise first Eye Cataract Surgery Camp after the outbreak of pandemic Covid-19 in Jammu district. The five day camp concluded on March 12. Munish Sharma senior BJP leader was the chief guest on this occasion. Sharma appreciated the society and team of doctors for successfully conducting this camp in which 35 patients were operated. He appreciated the other activities being done by society for the underprivileged people of society and assured his full support to society in future. In the concluding function society honored the team of doctors who conducted surgeries, Dr. Neerupama Dogra, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Dr. Shekhar Sharma, Subash and Koushal by presenting them mementos and bouquets. Block Medical Officer CHC Sohanjana Sumir Kaul was also honored at this time for his valuable support. Many dignitaries visited the camp during this period. Among them were Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, former minister Ajay Sadhotra, DDC member Geetu Aulakh and many others. |
