| ANTF recovers huge quantity of drugs, five inter-state narco-smugglers arrested | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 15: Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) apprehended five narco dealers and recovered huge quantity of poppy husk from a truck which was on its way from Kashmir to Punjab.
On receiving an input that a truck carrying huge quantity of drugs is coming from Kashmir, ANTF laid nakas at various places at the outskirts of Jammu City. A truck bearing Registration number JK04 9011 and one Alto Car bearing Registration Number DLIC 0205 were intercepted near Transport Yard Narwal jammu. On thorough checking of the truck, huge quantity of Poppy Husk was recovered. Five narco dealers were arrested from the truck.
They are Bashir Ahmed Dar R/o Charar e Sharief, Javid Ahmed R/o Pulwama, Dalip Singh R/o. Kartarpur, Jalandhar, Paramjeet Singh R/o. Ferozpur Punjab and Hanook Singh R/o Ferozpur, Punjab. Total one quintal and 60 kilograms of Poppy Husk has been recovered which was on its way from Kashmir to Punjab. A case under relevant sections of NDPS Law has been registered. |
