| JMC officials dump garbage in canals, residents demand action | | |

JAMMU, Mar 15: Residents of the Jammu division have urged the LG Manoj Sinha to take action against the officers and officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) since the Corporation according to them are dumping the waste in different canals.
The residents said that the water of the canal is needed by the farmers for irrigating the fields but the same are filled with all the filth and garbage.
They said the garbage dump has turned up as breeding ground for the germs and the people passing by the canals are facing huge problems. |
