| Entrance of Rice Research Station, SKUAST-K at Khudwani gives a shabby look | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Mar 19: The entrance of Rice Research station of Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Agriculture Sciences & Technology (SKUAST) Kashmir at Khudwani in South Kashmir's Kulgam district presents a shabby look since the garbage is dumped there much to the annoyance of locals and officials.
Reports said that the garbage is dumped by some of the people and the presence of same gives a shabby look to the entire surroundings. The locals and officers as well as officials have expressed concern over the dumping of garbage and said the practice needs to be stopped once for all.
The garbage is dumped not only at the entrance of the rice research station but also along the chain link fencing of the rice research station. It seems that there is no proper garbage dumping place in the area and due to the same some of the people dump the garbage there. |
