Controversial palatial bungalow of former deputy CM at Ban-Nagrota | Arguments completed, application of whistle blower reserved for orders | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 23: In a significant development, Member (Judicial) Rajesh Sekhri of the J&K Special Tribunal, Jammu today reserved the application of the whistleblower Advocate Muzzaffar Ali Shah for orders wherein he is seeking his impleading as party respondent in the appeal filed by Mamta Singh W/o Dr. Nirmal Singh, Ex-Dy. CM against the order of demolition issued by the JDA against Dr. Singh and his wife for raising a palatial house at village Ban (Panjgrain), Jammu allegedly without seeking any building permission from JDA after the arguments were completed by all the parties. As the matter came up for hearing the bench headed by Member (J), Advocate Adarsh Sharma appearing for JDA advanced his arguments wherein he also opposed the impleading of the whistle blower in the appeal filed by Mamta against the order of demolition passed by the JDA. Advocate R.K. Gupta appearing for the appellant had advanced his arguments earlier when the whistle blower submitted his arguments on 17-2-2022 and the matter was fixed for hearing the arguments of the counsel for JDA. After considering the submissions of the rival parties and keeping in view the urgency and the public interest involved in the matter, the J&K Special Tribunal has reserved the application for impleading for passing of the orders and has further directed the registry to list the matter on April 6th, 2022. The court has further extended the stay on demolition till next date of hearing. |
