Parents allege International Islamic School Peerbagh has no dispensary | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Apr 1: A group of people whose children are studying at International Islamic School (IIS) Peerbagh have said that the school does not have any dispensary and as and when any child falls ill no treatment whatsoever is given to the child. A parent while sharing views with Early Times said that his son fell ill some days back and he received a call from school management about the same. He said that as he reached the school he observed that his son is having high grade fever and despite this no medicine whatsoever was given to him. The parent said that had he been posted at a far off place it would have been very difficult for him to reach the school and take his child to his home. He demanded that Department of Education should carry out a survey and find out the schools that don't have dispensary at their premises. The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the school refuted the accusations and said the school has a full-fledged dispensary. The PRO said the in-charge of the dispensary had fallen ill on that particular day and it was due to this reason that parents were called to take their children to home. |
