| Contingent Paid Workers, Cooks of Department of Education hold protest in support of demands | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Apr 1: Contingent Paid Workers and Cooks of the Department of Education today carried out a strong protest in support of their demands and said that Minimum Wages Act should be implemented in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
The protesters said that their salary is pending since 2017 and despite holding protests no action whatsoever has been taken with respect to their demands. The protesters said that the people are giving mere assurances while doing nothing for them. They demanded intervention from LG in this regard so that their problems are solved. |
