| Ramnavmi celebrated with traditional fervour in Anantnag | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
ANANTNAG, Apr 13: Shree Ramakrishna Mahasammelan Ashram (SRMA) Nagdandi, Anantnag celebrated Durga Ashtami and Ramnavmi festivals with full religious fervour.
The Panch Sahakar Hawan started on in the evening on April 9 while Pooran Ahuti was on April 10 followed by Yuwa Pheri (procession) within Nagdandi Ashram covering all important spots. This was followed by Prashaad Vitran.
A Yuwa Sammelan attended by hundreds of youth from Vessu, Martand clusters and other areas of Kashmir was organized in Sanatan Samikhsha Bhawan and addressed by Manas Bhattacharyajee Uttra Prant Sanghathak, Kishore Tokekarji, Joint General Secretary Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. Participation of majority community especially youth in large numbers during the holy month of Ramzan was very appreciable, supportive and encouraging as well. Vivestha Pramukh Bharat Bushan Raina thanked all the participants who attended the religious ceremony. Such traditional religious functions in valley besides spiritual gains promote normalization through direct civil society meets and are result of perfect coordination, team work and extra dedication. |
